After finishing the Course with the 20 participants and after the Ceremony of the Diploma Course, it was time to evaluate. On June 19, 2019, an evaluation session of the Course “Let's Prevent Bullying!” was held. In this session, we used a participatory methodology that allowed an individual assessment and a group assessment, regarding the most positive aspects of the Course, the points that needed to be improved and also, suggestions for the future.

The methodology used inside DisAbuse project during the training that involved 27 participants in Rome was well appreciated by teachers, support teachers, psychologists and psychotherapists. As a follow-up, the project outcomes and outputs together with the project methodology were included inside the Fondazione Mondo Digitale training offer and tools within the organisation’s didactic targeting schools.

The methodologies learned through the Disabuse project have been employed in the My Money Counts initiative which is a joint project between IADT and MABS (Money Advice Budgeting Service in Ireland) to aid people with SEN/D to manage their own income. This provides more independence.

The evaluation of Let's Go, an independent living skills multimedia instructional tool, and Let's Be Safe, a multimedia application, complemented the ongoing work of the Disabuse project, by informing the multimedia design and usability for people with SEN/D.

With the DisAbuse project well-received, ABC,DCU have been approached to continue development of the materials in a secondary project that will, after discussion, focus on mainstreaming the project through the training of student teachers/teachers and further streamlining of the materials so they work more effectively with specific groupings within the SEN/D community. This will be done at an international level with partners sought from within the EU.

The final conference of the DisAbuse project is taking place on the 27th of September. The event, promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale and taking place inside the Innovation Gym in Rome, highlights both the issue of Disablist Bullying and the DisAbuse project. The conference presents all the outcomes of the project that aim to help tackle disablist bullying by learning from the experiences of both young people and adults with Special Educational Needs with Disabilities (SEN/D).
